Friends of Wednesday's Child

THE COLLINS GROUP - John Collins and his son Brian have played key parts in the annual dinner at Il Capriccio. John also has organized a fund raiser in Palm Beach, Florida. John has given tens of thousands of dollars to Wednesday's Child.

TOM GROSS - In 1984, Tom, Bob Fries and I decided we would put on a ski race for the US Ski Team. Our first effort at a fund raiser brought in about $600 and I said if we were going to work so hard, let's do it for my favorite charity: Wednesday's Child. The three of us did and after modest beginnings the race became the biggest in New England. Tom has remained with me, announcing each race and helping to M.C. the reception. Tom is a good friend, who has helped in many ways to help raise money for special needs children.

ANN FINUCANE
Ann is a vice president of Bank of America and has kept her New England roots. A friend of ours for nearly 30 years, she has been responsible for $80,000 in contributions to Wednesday's Child. She not only is a great and caring lady, but an energetic supporter of protecting special needs children.

THE DEMPSEYS - Joe, and the late Cheryl Dempsey have given thousands to Wednesday's Child. Along with John Collins and Rick Curtin, they have paid for all expenses at the annual Il Capriccio dinner, so all of the donations could go to help Wednesday's Child.

RICK CURTIN - Rick and his wife Diana have organized two dance/auctions at Weston Golf Club that raised thousands. They also helped pay for all expenses at the annual dinner at Il Capriccio.

SUSAN PETERSEN - An adoptive mother and supporter of Wednesday's Child since its creation in 1981, Susan remains one of our most loyal supporters. She's also a member of our board of directors.
