WENDY'S, VOLVO AND AMERICAN AIRLINES LOVE KIDS

I've personally told these businesses how much I appreciate their generosity to Wednesday's Child, but I wanted all of you to know how much they have done. Tell them or drop a note saying how much you appreciate their support of special needs adoption-it means more than you may realize.

WENDY'S - When Dave Thomas came to Boston 12 years ago to meet with me, he told me how much he admired Wednesday's Child and said he wanted his stores to get involved. They did and over the years have donated more than one million dollars. For six weeks, in January and February, all the Wendy's in our area have a promotion, selling coupon books for one dollar, with all of the proceeds going to help Wednesday's Child. It's a great deal for the customer as well, and allows the person who donates a dollar to save money on great products and be eligible for family vacations (winners are drawn at my annual ski race for Wednesday's Child). A list of Wendy's locations can be found on our home page under "Wendy's."

VOLVO - As you can see on our home page, Volvo again is giving us a wonderful vehicle to raffle off, with all proceeds going to Wednesday's Child. They have done this since 1992. This year, we're raffling a Volvo SUV, one of the most sought after vehicles in the world. Take a chance-your odds are much greater than ever winning the lottery (we sell a limited number of tickets).

AMERICAN AIRLINES -- When you fly, choose American. Marci and I do. Over the years, American Airlines has never refused a request to help Wednesday's Child. They make up a key part of our auction items and grand raffle prizes at our annual ski race for Wednesday's Child in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. It will be held on March 12th.
