Gus was one of the original Wednesday's Children, featured the year after we began the program. The number of calls received after the little boy poured his heart out saying he'd try real hard and help around the house was a record number. Almost 500 calls came in, which means not only did Gus get adopted, but a lot of other special needs children as well. During our reunion, Gus introduced me to his fiancé. They have since married and Gus works as a master craftsman woodworker in the great Boston area.
